8. Miss Pencil ~ wip

A fitted waist, hips curve that stands out, two little darts on the front and on the back.

You got it! A pencil skirt. And not only!

This description also applies to Miss Pencil bag, my latest creation and the first ever in crochet.

Crochetted of a black cotton yarn so to look like an elegant pencil skirt, the very one that leaves some room for comfort. It was that sexy skirt which insepired me.

A ribbon with pendants made of wooden and glass beads was used by way of a belt. And Voilà!

CARRY IT: hold in your hand or at the bend of your arm.

All thanks to a cabanister which can be fixated either at one side of the strap or the other. Thus, length of the strap can be esily adjusted.

Now, given her size, Miss Pencil is not one to stuff. Leave the 1.5-litre water bottle, health-conscious you! Trade the fat and highly refilled organizer for a tiny & flat Filofax (much more of my taste) or a moleskine. Or a PDA. What am I talking about ? A smartphone, of course.

No wonder this has been a while since last time I got excited by a new design, Miss Pencil is my last crochet bag creation ever to be released. The previous ones were… attempts… and pieces for them are still missing (other shoppings to do, for specific natural materials handles, loops..etc..)…
